It's impossible to stay 'in continuity' with a 'living tradition.' This is the modernist dodge. There is tradition. We are not to change it. There are our times. We apply the tradition to the times. In some epochs that will mean martyrdom. This is like that. Instead, some of us have caved in, and call it by any other name than apostasy.
