After possibly the strangest Christmas ever- which saw me missing the Midnight Mass of Christmas for the first time in four and a half decades owing to a bizarre acute and, thankfully short-lived, illness - I am seen here raising my Cardinal Ratzinger drinking vessel in a toast to all my readers.
